Show Cannonvilte By Marva Fletcher 679-8521 Merwin and Minok Dunham had a visit from their granddaughter Lynda of Salt Lake City. Loni Nelson went to Salt Lake City to attend a nail show. She makes finger nails look beautiful. Desmond and Gretha Twitchell attended the St. George LDS Temple Tem-ple Saturday. Erica Racker and sons Michael and David, St. George, came to spend several days with her parents, Alma and Anita Fletcher. ' Rosie Fletcher took Marva to Cedar City for an eye appointment. The LDSYoung Men and Young Women of the MIA did a service project at the Clele Fletcher home with more than 20 young people, their leaders and members of the Bishopric, raking and burning burn-ing trash on Tuesday. It was greatly appreciated. AC and Rita Hammer visited at Cove Fort during the week. Jim Clarke made a trip to Denver, Den-ver, Colo., with Mark LeFevre and his Bryce Valley High School Art class to attend a special art exhibit last week. Family members took Don Mangum to Fillmore where he met his son, Melvin and daughter-in-law April and their family. They journeyed jour-neyed to Salt Lake City to see men-son men-son and grandson Jared Mangum off at the airport for his mission in Germany-Hamburg. Lori and Karl Munford and family fam-ily and Doug and Tammy Twitchell and family of Cedar City visited Vaughn and Mae Twitchell on Sunday. Sun-day. Cami Munford is excited to have only one more chemo treatment treat-ment to take. Vaughn and Mae Twitchell traveled trav-eled to Salt Lake City and visited their son Ron, his wife Leah and their family and Mae's sister Elva Sheppard in Springville. They also went to the Provo Cemetery to see the grave of Vaughn's mother. Joey and Aloha Mathews spent the weekend here with relatives and friends and they attended the missionary mis-sionary farewell for Daniel Thompson. Theron and Laurie Coon of Washington were also here for the service. Visitors at George and Ada Thompson's home were Tom and Ann Reece, son Greg, son Michael and his four children, Amber, Sabrina, Derek and Makal, Ginger Stevens and daughter, Julia, all of Las Vegas, Nev., and Patty Jo Lutes of Kent, Wash. Many relatives and friends attended at-tended the missionary farewell for Daniel Thompson. Trish Thompson's sister Rosemary came from St. George, Tammy Witt from Richfield, Wally and Kelly Leo and children of Panguitch, Clele Fletcher from the Care Cen-. ter, Rosemary Fletcher, Cedar City, and many whose names I did not learn, and friends and relatives from the neighboring towns. Speakers were McKay and Rosa Lee, who then sang a song assisted by the Primary Children. A talk by Trish, a song by Lisa and Michelle Robertson, Rob-ertson, speaker, Joe Thompson, an original piano solo by Marshall Thompson, a talk by Elder Daniel Thompson and remarks by Marty Rich. Marshall Thompson was advanced in the Priesthood to the office of a Priest. Annabelle Palmer, Fresno, Calif., visited her family - Clele at the Care Center, and Marva and Rosemary here. She came to Utah to get acquainted with a new little grandson born to daughter and son in-law Jennifer and Travis Stafford of St. George. Barbie Lutes Larson spent a day here visiting relatives and showing off her new little baby daughter. She and her husband live in Lehi. An accident that could have been a severe tragedy occurred Saturday afternoon when George Thompson Jr. was taking his children and some of the nieces and nephews for rides on the four-wheeler. It rolled and several of the children and George were slightly injured. They were taken to Panguitch but all were able to return home after stitches, bandages etc. Lark Reynolds was taken to Salt Lake City for medical attention and is in intensive care.
