' r k V j i i 'V- - A - ..... - - r 9 it -. , Bureau ( Land Mangement ofBcials Bill Booker, Realty Specialist (left) and Verlin Smith, Field Manager, signed a Recreation or Public Purpose Lease agreement with Garfield County commissioners commis-sioners and others on Monday afternoon. The lease gives the county the go ahead to begin construction con-struction on the new Garfield County Public Safety Facility, northwest of Panguitch. Others in-voloved in-voloved in the planning process were Melvin Miller, Jail Commander (third from left); Louise Liston, Maloy Dodds, and Clare Ramsay, Garfield County Commissioners; Camille Moore, Garfield County Clerk; and Than Cooper, Garfield County Sheriff. The signing of the lease is the first step to getting the title to the land and when the building is almost finished, the BLM will sign over the land to the county. The facility is expected to be completed com-pleted by Dec. 31. |
