Show Si I '7 rJ MichonOtt Michon Ott Receives Award Recently, at Southern Utah University, Michon Ott received the Thunderbird Award for Female Contributor Con-tributor of the Year. This award was presented - to Michon as an outstanding student who has distinguished herself through unselfish service to SUU and the community as a whole, and because she has consistently provides pro-vides leadership and involvement in various campus programs. Students and faculty had the opportunity op-portunity to nominate fellow students stu-dents and professors for various categories. Finalists were then chosen. After Af-ter resumes were reviewed and interviews in-terviews conducted, the winners were announced at a special awards assembly. The theme for the program pro-gram was "A Lifetime of Character." Charac-ter." Sixteen awards were presented during the evening's proceedings. Michon Ott is the daughter of Sherrell and Karen Ott, of Tropic. She graduated from Bryce Valley High School and graduated from SUU on May 7, in the field of Business Marketing. She now plans on entering the job market. |
