Show Antimony News '" By Betty Wiley 624-3215 Tom and Sally East spent the Easter weekend with her parents, the Van Wileys. Larry and Reba Gleave were in St. George on Monday for his doctors appointment. While there, their daughter Ashley stayed with the Judy Fieldings. LDS Stake President Shannon Allen and wife, Julie and children spent the weekend in Salt Lake City attending LDS General Conference and enjoying the weekend. Stopping by their summer homes this week were Winston and Dorothy Stratton and Val and Kathlyn Snow. Panguitch LDS Stake had their temple excursion day on Friday evening in St. George. Antimony was well represented as there are 10 ordinance workers who work every Friday, the mid-day and evening shifts. Rickie Gleaves has been here cutting some of the cottonwood trees around Eugene King's home. Jerry and Janene Savage have been tending the youngest child of the Keith Savages while his parents are vacationing at Disneyland. The two Piute County ambulances and the one Koosharem ambulance were called to the scene of a rollover on Hwy. 62 on Saturday evening, by Otter Creek. They transported five injured and were lucky no one was more seriously injured. Garth Roberts had all three girls, Elaine Tebbs, Kim Adams and Darlene Evans and their entire families, as well as Ken and his family here on Saturday and went picnicking up Antimony Canyon for Easter. Valeen Roberts is having a problem with her back and is home unable to work. Leland and Marge Robinson had i as visitors the past few days, Marge's two brothers and sisters-in- law, Richard and Donna Clark of Loveland, Colo, and Harold and 1 Edna Clark of Salt Lake City. The Harold Clarks went on down to see i the parks before returning home. 1 Michelle Blood spent the i weekend here with her parents, the i Layne Bloods. She attends Brigham Young University. Making the Piute High School i Term Honor Roll were Angela 1 King, 7th grade; Kent Willis and Robyn Montague, 9th grade; Kami Willis, 10th grade; Amberly Roberts, 11th grade; and Kari Willis, Kori Willis, Mamie King and Riley Roberts, 12th grade. We are really proud of these young people. |
