Show Panguitch Police ArrestJail Two PANGUITCH Panguitch City Police arrested two men early last week for apparent alcohol-related alcohol-related violations. Robert Thomas Shaffer, III, 47, Panguitch, was apprehended and booked into the Garfield County Jail on eight separate counts, following fol-lowing an incident at a Panguitch residence at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday, April 9. Police Chief Martin Nay, arrested Shaffer who was subsequently charged with felony, attempted burglary, a felony, and seven Class B misdemeanors: public intoxication, disorderly conduct, no Utah drivers license, driving on suspension, DUI, assault and criminal mischief. Shaffer appeared before Justice Stan Foy on Wednesday for arraignment ar-raignment and was released on his own recognizance after posting $1,000 bail. Panguitch City Police Officer Kevin Moore reported the arrest of Briton Oberhansli, 34 of Boulder on April 8 for public intoxication and a probation violation from the court of Justice John W. Yardley. He was booked into the Garfield County Jail and on Tuesday was transported to Sevier County for an appearance on charges pending in that jurisdiction. |
