Show Tropic News By Louise Ott 679-8776 Kent and Betty Lou Wintch, along with Gayle and Marie Pollock Pol-lock were in Zion National Park at a banquet with the Bryce Canyon Can-yon Natural History Association. Kent and Betty Lou had a relapse of the flu and felt that getting out and into some sunshine would be good therapy for them. Rella Alvey said their son Kim Alvey had hurt his shoulder in a fall from his truck but is better bet-ter and back to light duly on his job. Janet Pollock had son Joe and his family up for dinner for his birthday. All had a nice visit. Joe is able to go back to work at the park after his back surgery last year. Kaillin and Jacob Pollock goi to stay wilh grandma and grandpa Jack and Janet Pollock while their parents were in Zion. Members of the LDS Relief Society held their annual birthday party on Mar. 18 at the old gym. The theme was "Stepping Back In Time". From all the reports, it was a success. Vcrlyn Munson 's brother Alan took her to Cedar City for further tests. Kimbcrcly Wintch from Caliente, Nev. visited her grandparents grand-parents Kent and Betty Lou Wintch. Wanda Shakespear is home from the extended care center. cen-ter. It is good to have her back in her own place. It is our prayer that she can grow stronger each day. True and Joan Ott and children visited the Stanley Ott's on Sunday Sun-day and told them about their trip to Alabama where True and Keith Workman bowled in the Nationals. Nation-als. They were able to visit a lot of interesting places and had a nice lime. Eva Pollock and Agnes Little-field Little-field were in Richfield to see their heart doctor. Eva got word that her sister in Salt Lake City had passed away, so she and Larvin went to her funeral. They also visited with family and daughter, the Marian Blake's. While Tim Fcltner was off for spring break, he, wife Kris and children took grandmother Hilma Haas to Carson City, Nev. to visit Kenneth and Susan Haas. Kenneth Ken-neth is Hilma's son and Kris' father. fa-ther. They had a great trip. Layton "Pal" and Belly Ott visited in town one day. Phyllis and Kent Webester from Sail Lake City visited with Eva Dean and Charlie Francisco. |
