Other visitors with the LaVal Sawyers were Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Rhees, Page, Ariz.; Deon Latham, Fredo-nia, Fredo-nia, Ariz.; and Chris Johnson and Heather Sawyer, Phoenix, Ariz. Vay Sawyer, Kanab, brought Verla Sawyer of Anchorage, Alaska, Alas-ka, and Riley Anderson, Rusty Anderson, An-derson, Justin Anderson and Josh LaCarti, all of Kanab, to visit Ver-da Ver-da Sawyer and Mr. and Mrs. Karl Lowder. Abbie Fallis had most of her children here. Visiting were Mr. and Mrs. Francis Simons, McCammon, Ida.; Mr. and Mrs. Neil Olsen, Blackfoot, Ida.; Mr. and Mrs. Arvel Fallis, Fallon, Nev.; and Mr. and Mrs. Mark Fallis, Salt Lake City. This is the time of year for family reunions. Reunions that we've heard about are Burrows, Huntington, Clove and Fallis, with large groups attending each. Visiting Julia Turek were Ada Nordell, and the Wynn turek family, fami-ly, Washington; David Wynn, Parowan; the Brent Turek family, Bountiful; and Mr. and Mrs. Vard Hcaton and the Douglas Heaton family, Alton. Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Eric Barnhurst are Mr. and Mrs. Del Barnhurst of Ephraim, Mr. and Mrs. Ike Oakeson, South Jordan, and Usher Wilcock, Molford. Visiting Mr. and Mrs. LaMar Barney are Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Marble, Portland, Ore.; the Dennis Dalton family, Las Vegas; Janell Duckelt, Halls Crossing, Ariz.; and the Kenneth Barney family, Colorado Col-orado Springs, Colo. Mr. and Mrs. Ramon Porter of i Orem visited Francis Porter over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Kay Alexander, Salt Lake City, visited Effel Riggs the past week. Mr. and Mrs. Max Burrows and Danny Burrows, Fredonia, Ariz., are here at their trailer at Old Town. Mr. and Mrs. Will Lane visited Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Wilson over the holidays. Gordon Lane stayed to visit for awhile longer. Roma Evans, Penny Evans, Dixie Hardy, Mr. and Mrs. Vance Evans, and Faye Evans, all of Salt Lake City, visited friends and relatives rela-tives last week in Hatch. Other visitors in town were the LaVell Swapp family, Salt Lake City; Mr. and Mrs. Garth Workman, Work-man, Cedar City; Mr. and Mrs. Keith Workman, St. George; and Mr. and Mrs. Pete Workman, Orem. Hope Dalton, Kanab, was here at her home. Visitors there were the Bruce Dalton family, Panguitch, and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Bauer, Cedar City. Cassie Mack, Fullerton, Calif., is out at the Mack cabin for a few days. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Wood of Las Vegas, are here at their home visiting visit-ing for a few days. Arthur Sawyer and Mr. and Mrs. Nile Sawyer went to Provo where Arthur had surgery. Arthur is recuperating recu-perating at the home of his son and daughter-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Van Sawyer in Provo. Mr. and Mrs. Nile Sawyer celebrated cele-brated the July 24 holiday in Spring City visiting Mr. and Mrs. Greg Hansen. Mr. and Mrs. Leone Wooley, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Porter, Cameron Porter and Travis Porter, Orem, were here at their home for the long weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Austin Barnhurst, Las Vegas, are here for a few weeks. Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Bob Evans are the Mike Evanses and the Eddie Ladells of Arizona. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Riggs of Texas are visiting Mr. and Mrs. Orlas Riggs. Mr. and Mrs. Darol Allred, Washington, visited Mr. and Mrs. Karl Lowder and May Sawyer last week. Also, their children, Mr. and Mrs. Leone Cooley, Arlington, Texas; Janet Houston, Beaver; and Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Allred, and Mr. and Mrs. Jody Allred, Washington, met them here and visited over the long weekend. Visiting May Sawyer were Mr. and Mrs. Kurt Sawyer and Mr. and Mrs. Kent Sawyer, Cedar City; Valeene Roberts, Antimony; and Kerry Sawyer, Elaine Sawyer and Eric Sawyer, Panguitch. Mr. and Mrs. Arty Woodard of Cedar City stopped Monday to see Eric Sawyer. Mr. and Mrs. Nile Sawyer and Mr. and Mrs. Leone Wooley went to Tropic Sunday to visit Mr. and Mrs. Roy Shakespear. The Hatch town board has purchased pur-chased new playground equipment for the city park. Parents are encouraged en-couraged to teach their children to respect the buildings and equipment on the park square. |
