Show Farmer Hurt In Accident BOULDER A 74-year-old Boulder man lost a forearm in a farm accident involving a hay baler at noon on Wednesday, July 20. Mac LeFevre lost his forearm when it became entangled in the machinery at his ranch in Salt Gulch, eight miles west of Boulder. He was taken 20 miles by private pri-vate vehicle to the Kazan Memorial Clinic in Escalante by his two sons after they alerted the clinic to their arrival. LeFevre was stabilized at the clinic by Dr. E. Terry Henrie and transported to Escalante airport where Life Flight crews were waiting wait-ing to take him by air to LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City. He is recuperating at home where he is reported to be recovering recover-ing rapidly. |
