Show Concern Expressed on Lake Fishing Slowdown Many anglers and local businessmen have expressed concern con-cern about the current slowdown of fishing at Panguitch Lake and the future of fisheries at the lake according ac-cording to Division of Wildlife r. . Resources Conservation Officer Norman McKee. Fish managers of the DWR are also concerned with the future of the important fishery, he said. As a result, during the Panguitch Lake Run and Fun Day set for Saturday, August 2, DWR biologists will be on hand to discuss the lake fishery with interested people. Bruce Schmidt, chief of fisheries; Dale Hepworth, regional fish manager and McKee will be available at the area where the barbecue will be held at noon at the Panguitch Lake LDS Branch building near the south shore boat ramp. The DWR representatives will be available from noon until 3 p.m. with public inquiries welcome. |
