Show Tebbs Reunion Draws Large Crowd to Area The A. Cal and Mary Myers Tebbs reunion was held Saturday, July 26, at the Senior Citizens Center in Panguitch. This year's chairman was Daniel Marshall, Riverton. All members of the immediate family were represented: Mrs. Millard (Mamie Tebbs) Hatch; Mrs. Sherman (Irene Tebbs) Hatch; Mrs. Monte (Cleo Tebbs) Marshall, and James C. Tebbs and their families. The event is held on alternate years in Panguitch. Eighty-five people enjoyed games and a special program where each family presented a musical number. Solos were performed by Gret-chen Gret-chen Gardner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Phil dickensen and granddaughter grand-daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Hatch and by Jan Partridge, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Partridge and granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Millard Hatch. A taped biography of Cal Tebbs' life was narrated by Ray Tebbs of Panguitch. Cal Tebbs and his wife were early ranchers in the Panguitch area, they established the first roller rink which later became a dance hall. They owned the A.C. Tebbs ranch at Panguitch Lake. He was a local Panguitch merchant for many years. |
