Matilda Fletcher Dutton. She mar-1 mar-1 ried Ira Willis Elmer April 23, 1926, in Junction, solemnized May 14, 1961, in the St. George LDS Ll Temple. He died May 12, 1980. " She is survived by five sons and three daughters: Lyle Willis Elmer, j Mesa, Ariz.; Mrs. Paul (Beth) Wogan, Silverton, Colo.; Howard Elmer, Cedar City; James H. Elmer, Panguitch; LaMar Elmer, 1 1 Mt. Pleasant; Mrs. John (Virginia) " Moosman, Spring City; Mrs. Jerry (Theora) Mangum, Monroe; and John Chester Elmer, New York, New York; 37 grandchildren, 47 greatgrandchildren. i Funeral services will be held Monday, June 13, 1988, at 1:00 p.m. in the Cannonville LDS Ward chapel where friends may call after 1 1 11:00 a.m. on Monday. Interment will be in the Cannonville Can-nonville Cemetery by Neal S. She was born Jan. 31, 1937 to Clyde and Irene W. King in Es-calante. Es-calante. She married Vernon Dean Roundy in 1955. They were later divorced. She married David W Williams of St. George in 1974. She worked for Southern Utah State College where she served as curator of the Braithwaite Fine Arts Gallery. She graduated from SUSC with a bachelors degree in art. She was a talented sculptress and painter, and a real estate broker in southern Utah for many years. She is survived by her mother of Pangutich, two daughters, Mrs Steven (Cheryl) Cox, St. George and Mrs. Kevin (Colette) Cox, Cedar City; three grandchildren; and four sisters, Gerry Hitt of Phoenix, Marjone Ence of St. George, and Ann Reynolds and Linda Hall, both of Panguitch. Funeral services were held Tuesday Tues-day at the Southern Utah Mortuary in Cedar City. Nethella Woolsey ESCALANTE Funeral services ser-vices for Nethella King Griffin Woolsey were held Friday in the Escalante LDS Ward chapel with Bishop Reed Munson, officiating. Thomas R. Lyman offered the family prayer; Areola Gates played prelude and postlude music and Dale Woosley gave the invocation. LeNora LeFevre gave a tribute and speaker was Lynn Gates. Bishop Bish-op Reed Munson gave remarks. Music included selections by the Escalante Relief Society Chorus. Hal Woolsey gave the benediction. Interment was in the Escalante Cemetery by Neal S. Maglcby and Sons Mortuary, Richfield, where Ivan Lyman offered the dedicatory prayer. Pallbearers were Eric Woolsey, Arthur Lyman, Dell LeFevre, Eugene Griffin. LeFair Hall and Dan Coleman. Honorary pallbearers were Max Behunin, Truman Lyman, Mac LeFevre, Lincoln Lyman, Doyle Moosman, Vern Hansen and Mohr Christensen. |
