Show Fish, Play Free This Weekend Utahns will not only be able to take advantage of Saturday's "Free Fishing Day" but will also be able to enjoy "Free State Park Day" the same day. June 1 1 has been named "Free State Park Day" by the Utah Division Di-vision of Parks and Recreation and there will be no $4 day use fee at any state park that day. Overnight camping fees will still be charged. In Garfield County, residents and visitors to the state can visit three state parks: Kodachrome Basin State Park, just south of Cannonville; Escalante Petrified Forest State Park near Escalante; and Anasazi Indian Village State Park in Boulder. Kodachrome and Escalante have overnight camping facilities. June 1 1 was also named "Free Fishing Day" by Governor Norman Bangerter. No license is required for anyone fishing on Saturday, but all other fishing regulations still apply. ap-ply.
