Show Frank 'Toad" Haycock Funeral services for Joseph Frank, "Toad", Haycock were held at the Panguitch Second LDS Ward Chapel on Saturday, June 3, 1991 with Elder Clark Howard officiating. officiat-ing. Davenport, 63, were held Friday, June 7, 1991 at the Kanab City Cemetery. Davenport died June 2 in Kanab. He was bom July 25, 1927 in Cairo Coal, Okla. to Fred and Molly Swindell Davenport. He married Una G. Adams on November Novem-ber 23, 1945 in Riverside, Calif. Davenport was an army veteran of the Korean War. He moved from Oklahoma to Hemett, Calif, as a teenager where he met his wife. They moved to Panguitch 1966 and to Kanab in 1977. He enjoyed fishing, fish-ing, particularly bass fishing, j Survivors include his wife Gene of Kanab; a daughter and two sons, Mrs. John (Linda) Pert, Fredonia, Houston and Henry Thomas and Elder Howard offered the closing remarks. Pallbearers were Ron Burton, Bud Robinson, Paul Robinson, Claude LeFevre, Tom Simkins and Jim Burton with Jeff Burton, Russell Rus-sell Lee, Jim Davis, Bill Frandsen, Mark Talbot, Mike Talbot and John Talbot serving as honorary pallbearers. pall-bearers. Graveside services were held at the Kanab City Cemetery officiated by Pastor Gene Robinson with a special vocal solo by Brent Leach. Pallbearers were Ricky Davenport, Ronnie Davenport, Jason Davenport, Daven-port, Jim Koons, Jim Pyle and Don Jacobs. Dedication of the grave was made by Will Jones with the American Legion Post also assisting. assist-ing. Services were conducted under the direction of Mosdell Mortuary of Kanab. Nellie Craig Topham ANTIMONY Nellie Craig Topham, 66, died June 11, 1991, at the home of her daughter in Antimony. Anti-mony. Born in Panguitch on November 20, 1924, she was the daughter of Albert Franklin and Cora Hatch Craig. She married Melvin Orrel Topham July 11, 1944 in Provo. The marriage was later solemnized in the St. George LDS Temple. Nellie and her husband trained race horses in Phoenix, Ariz, and Las Vegas, Nev. most of their married lives. She moved back to Utah after her husband's death in 1982. Survivors are two sons, Craig Topham, Gunnison, and Kim Topham, Las Vegas; one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Tanya) Gleave, Antimony; An-timony; 14 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Other survivors survi-vors include one brother, Wayne Craig, Santaquin; five sisters, Mrs. Spencer (Roxie) Bowles, Nephi, Mrs. Lloyd (Opal) Lerwill, Salem, Shirley Lee Craig, Salt Lake City, Pearl Greenhalgh, Santaquin, and Mrs. William (Dorothy) Okel-berry. Okel-berry. Pleasant Grove. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 15, at 1 p.m. in the Halladay Hills Funeral Home in Santaquin. Friends may call at the funeral home to pay their respects after 12 noon. Burial will be in the Santaquin City Cemetery. |
