Show By Marta Peterson Ed Uptain, a career NPS employee, em-ployee, has become a member of the Bryce Canyon National Park family. He will be working for the Maintenance Division as a heavy equipment operator. Ed will be leaving his present job at Lassen Volcanic National Park to join the maintenance staff this month. The Charlie Peterson family traveled to Texas to visit family and friends. Marta's sister, Diana Den-oyer, Den-oyer, from San Diego, Calif, flew to Albuquerque, New Mex. to meet the Petersons and join them on the last leg of the trip to BCNP. The ranger division announced the hiring of Clyde Stonaker from Castilon District of Big Bend National Na-tional Park, as the new Front Country District Ranger at BCNP. Bob and Pauline Morlock from Longview, Tex. recently visited their son John Morlock. It was their first peek at their new grandson, grand-son, Juan Diego. The new Youth Conservation Corps employees, local high school students, are Maria Chidester, Scott Edmiston, Nicole Hepworth, Jennifer Jenni-fer Matthews, John Orton, David Peterson, Genevieve Robker and Wayne Simkins. |
