Show New Panguitch CORE Group Panguitch City Council member Cindy Stewart will head the newly formed Panguitch chapter of the Coalition of Responsible Environmentalists Environ-mentalists (CORE) which met at the courthouse commission chambers cham-bers June 6 to elect officers and develop de-velop a plan for dealing with threats to grazing and timber sales on public pub-lic lands and the effect of proposed wilderness on local lifestyle and economy. The group is developing a letter-writing letter-writing network and considering possible appeals on Tippets, Coyote Coy-ote Hollow , and Boulder Top Noon Sale. Their goal is to educate the public, pub-lic, particularly in large metropolitan metropoli-tan areas, to the problems faced by those who depend upon multiple use of public lands for their livelihood. liveli-hood.
