Show By Ella Adair Mr. and Mrs. Larvin Pollock made a trip to Denver, Colo., for their grandson's graduation exercises. exer-cises. Janet Pollock accompanied them to the blessing naming of their new granddaughter, born to Mr. and Mrs. Gayle Pollock. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Mangum made a business trip to Salt Lake City. LaRene Munson accompanied her daughters Elaine Brown and Joan Topham to Mapleton to visit her brother Keith Ott and the Kay Mangums. She returned to Salina to attend her grandson's graduation exercises. Anita Francisco was home for the weekend. Kristy Talbot visited in Tropic. Her husband Douglas Talbot has been transferred to Phoenix, Ariz. Mr. and Mrs. Birch Moore visited visit-ed the Matland Baughs. Tawn Mangum was home for the blessing and naming of his new nephew, Cache Mortenson. Terry McAlister visited her aunt Keela Mangum. Cora Shakespear and Ella Adair were in St. George Friday for eye doctor appointments. LaFaun Pollock was in Cedar City on business during the week. Ella Adair entertained the LDS Family Home Evening group at her home. SaraLou Sudweeks and Florene Sudweeks made a trip to Cedar City and Minnie Nielsen accompanied them for a medical appointment Lyle and Nancy Mortenson, Cedar City, Kyle and Ruth Mortenson, Morten-son, Salt Lake City, Patricia Mortenson, Beaver, Mr. and Mrs. Dick Norvers, Mr and Mrs. Ralph Fordham, Viola Nowers, Beaver, were all in Tropic for the naming of Cache Mortenson, son of Shawn and Crystal Mortenson. Mr. and Mrs. $tan Ott attended the naming of their new granddaughter grand-daughter in Parowan, daughter of Jody and Joyce Edwards. The Otts also made a trip to Nevada with daughter Marilyn over the weekend. Ronald McGee spent the weekend week-end in Tropic ridding his property of old buildings and trash. Mr. and Mrs. Ron Burningham are spending their vacation in Idaho and Nevada. Karen Ott is the acting postmaster while they are gone. A bridal shower for Melinda Shakespear was held Saturday. Hostesses were Amber Simons and Diana Brinkerhoff. Ella Adair and Margaret Mecham attended a Garfield County Council meeting in Panguitch. Mr. and Mrs. Dee McClelland visited with the Alston Shake-spears. Shake-spears. Bart Palmer made a business trip to Salt Lake City. Several Tropic boys and dads enjoyed en-joyed a Fathers' and Sons' outing at the Barker Reservoir. While there they helped Forest Service personnel person-nel pick up trash from the area. |
