Show American Legion Names Officers BRYCE CANYON NATIONAL PARK. American Legion Post No. 18, Bryce Valley Utah District, has selected new officers for the year. Tom Pope, Bryce Canyon National Park retired U.S. Army Master Sergeant, has been elected Post commander. Pope says, "we have approximately 60 members and we have Invited all veterans to join our post." The post meets the third Tuesday of each month at Pink Cliffs Village. "Prior to the next meeting," Pope said, "we'll have a planning meeting to outline both long and short term goals." Pope has on his staff Steve Winters, first vice commander; Cletis Rodgers, second vice commander; Norm LeFevre, adjutant; Les Barker, treasurer; Stan Ott, service officer; Jack Chynoweth, chaplian and Dexter Francisco, sergeant-at-arms. |
