Show Tropic Topics Ella Adair Dixie Shakespear is spending the week in New Castle with daughter Christy, getting acquainted with her new grandson. Margaret Mecham, Rachel Ahlstrom and LaRene Munson were in Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. Afton Pollock have received an LDS mission call to the Phillipines Baggio mission they will leave July 24. Fast Sunday will be held April 28 due to the missionary testimonial for Dallen Baugh on May 6 at 11 a.m. All church meetings will, start one hour earlier in the Tropic Ward, starting April 28. Clella Littlefield and Dixie Shakespear enjoyed a visit from sister Erna Hansen, Salt Lake City. Louise Ott made a trip to Rex-burg, Idaho to bring son Richard home from college. Clive Bybee was in Richfield on business. Mr. and Mrs. Kent Wintch were in Provo for Betty Lou to have a dental appointment. Mr. and Mrs. LaVel Baugh, Grand Canyon spent the weekend with their parents, the Sherman Baughs. Tod Niemann was a visitor at the John Niemann home. Mr. and Mrs. Cray Pollock visited with the Herman Pollocks. ' Minnie Nielsen had surgery on her hand. Sherrie Mecham spent more time in the hospital recovering from recent tonsillectomy complications. Kim Alvey visited with the Royal Alveys. Mr. and Mrs. Burch Moore visited the Matland Baughs. Ivan Clarke, Susan Syrett, Kathryn Henrie and Dallen Baugh are home from Brigham Young University and Richard Ott is home from Ricks College. Vertis Clarke has her four grandchildren visiting with her, the children of daughter Mr. and Mrs. Rick Evans. LuElla Mangum enjoyed a visit from daughter Laura. Mr. and Mrs. Stuard and Zenda Conningham are visiting in Tropic with the Ursel Otts and getting their trailer ready to live in. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Mangum spent two days at the South Rim of the Grand Canyon attending a park service meeting. Nellie Rae Mecham enjoyed a visit from her father. Jeanne Shakespear has her father, from Parowan, visiting with her. |
