Show Panguitch Fatter Judy Uenrie Mr. and Mrs. Gale Wilcock and grandson Michael Thomas who is living with them traveled to Las Vegas where they met Mr. and Mrs. Henry Thomas and family. The Thomases and the Wilcocks then left for a 10-day trip back to visit Henry's family In Greenville, Mississippi. On the way back home they stopped at the Diamond Mines in Arkansas, In Oklahoma and at the Carlsbad Caverns in New Mexico. They spent some time in Las Vegas before returning home to Panguitch. The Wilcocks announce the marriage of their grandson Gale Davis, son of Mr. and Mrs. LaMond Davis to Julie Kesler of Beaver. They were married in the St. George Temple and held a reception in Beaver. Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Elmer, Phoenix, Ariz, and Rubon Burgess, West Valley City have been visiting their mother Mabel Norton and sisters and their husbands, Mr. and Mrs. Clem Englestead and Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Hooper. Mr. and Mrs. Clark Howard received word of the death of Flora's brother-in-law in a plane crash. They have gone to Logan to be with her sister and to attend funeral services., Mr. and Mrs. Steele Henrie visited in Cedar City with their daughter and her husband, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Jacobson and attend the ordination of their grandson Shane Jacobson to the office of teacher in the LDS preisthood. Pat Dix was in Aurora visiting his daughter and her husband, Mr. and Mrs. Tracy (Patti) Shaw. He also visited with his granddaughter Terry Pintuv, Salt Lake City who brought his great-granddaughter Megan to meet him. Visiting Ileta In Panguitch were Angelia Dix and Jason Dix, Parowan. Mr. and Mrs. Kelly Dix, St. George and Mr. and Mrs. Ricahrd Dix, Parowan visited and took the children home. Lyle Miller and her sister Argie Peterson visited with their brother Glen Dodds in St. George and Lyle kept an eye appointment while there. Mr. and Mrs. Keith 0. Henrie came from Mesquite, Nev. to attend the funeral of Levi Myers. While here they received word of the death of Rosemond's foster brother John H. Clark, Morton, Washington. John H. was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Houd Clark. He was born and reared in Panguitch. he was killed while felling trees for the logging firm he works for. Mr. and Mrs. Keith 0. Henrie went to Salt Lake City where they met her foster sister Virginia Hunt of Tennessee and her foster brother and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Clark, Logan to travel to the funeral in Washington State. Mr. and Mrs. Jay Crosby are now home afer being gone for the past two and one-half months. They stayed at the home of her sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Warren K. Sheets, Upland, Calif. They also visited her sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Dick Shumway of Upland and Jay's brother and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Crosby, Los Gatos, Calif. On the way home they spent a week with son Evan Crosby in Salt Lake City. Evan has just had back surgery. Maxine visited with Delia Hatch who sends her love to all the people of Panguitch. Overnight guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Verd Worthen last week were their granddaughter and husband Mr. and Mrs. Randy Wagner, Price. They were on their way to Phoenix to meet her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Tim Christensen and her brother Verd Christensen to travel to Fort McClellan, Ala. for the graduation of Sgt. Blaine Scott Christensen from Drill Instructor School and to see their new grandson, Shane Christensen, the first great-grandchild of Verd and Faye Worthen. Pat Green, Steamboat Springs, Colo, has been here visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Henrie. |
