Show Panguitch Patter ' Carolyn C. LeFevre f " The Round Robin stirred, up some fun and enjoyment over the last two weekends. People are trying to enjoy the warmer days too soon and are catching colds from it Ray and Louise Englestead got to enjoy their family here with grandkids for the Round Robin weekends. Visiting were LaRae and "Gabby" Moore and children from Kanab and Ron and Juana Englestead and children from Cedar City. Philip and Jaynell Bailey and Layne Crosby spent the weekend with Jay Crosby's. Jay and Maxine Crosby visited in Orem and Salt Lake City with their children. Mary Henrie, Rea Dodds, Lula Davis and Hilda Gardner spent last week in St. George doing temple work. The men's poool club has been having a pool tournament at the Senior ' Citizens Center. The championship game will be held Wednesday, March 17 at 1:00 p.m. at the center. Anyone wishng to play pool can do so at the center during the day until 5:00 p.m. Beth Hatch and Jacketta Goodin went to Parowan and visited Mr. and Mrs. Walter Mor-tensen. Donald and Jody Robinson were here over the weekend visiting with Scott Robinson. Emma Sargeant and Sara Hatch were down from up North a week ago visiting Orien Orton and helping clean house. Ed and Ethel Henrie are now home from visiting their daughters in Elsinore and are anxious to visit everyone again getting back in the swine of things here. Carolyn LeFevre and daughter Donna were happy to vsiti with Carolyn's brother Ronald when the Escalante Elementary school came over for the centennial celebration and to check out the courthouse. They had their band perform for the big celebration. Don't forget to keep the news coming as I can't write my column without it! The DUP ladies looked real nice in their old fashioned pioneer style dresses at the Centennial Celebration on March 9th. |
