Show Obituaries Al E. Tmon Alfred "Al" E. Taron, 60, Frannie, Mont., died April 12, 1980 of cancer in a Billings, Mont, hospital. Born October 20, 1919, Grand Hapids, N.D., to Rudolph Walter and Mary Mauck Taron. Married Ora C. Miller April 12, 1951 at Fredonia, Ariz. He worked on farms and ranches, was in the service in the North Pacific in 44th combat engineers from April 1942 to Sept. 1945. After the service he did various types of work around Montana and Wyoming. Survivors: widow, step son, Daryl Miller, both Frannie; brothers, sisters, Arthur, Miles City, Mont.; It. L. (Rudy), Kennewick, Wash.; Adolph, Cen-tralia, Wash.; Benny, Seattle, Wash.; Mrs. G. F. (Edna) Cox, Morgan, Minn.; Mrs. George (Violet) Hicok of Amery, Wise; Mrs. C. R. (Redina) Blow of Seattle, Wash.; Mrs. D.C. (Mildred) Helms, No. Carolina; Mrs. Ralph (JoAnn) Ewards, Spokane, Wash. Funeral services were held at Ballard Funeral Home in Cody, Wyo. where Bishop Randall Peterson gave the sermon. Prayers were of- fered by Gerald Acton and Darwin Durfee. Life history was by Willis McCollum and music was provided by Leta Mar-chant and LeRose Peterson. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery with military graveside honors by Cody VFW honor guard. Sherrill Lamb offered the dedicatory prayer. Pallbearers were Archie Sorenson, A.E. Beall, Don Turley, Les Schmidt, Fred Barrus and Joe Shultz. Freeman Turley was an honorary bearer. |
