Show Threat Investigation Results in Arrests Of Four Residents wmle investigating intormation concerning a possible "terroristic threat" to a Panguitch resident, Panguitch City law enforcement officers stumbled onto evidence of illicit drug use at the same residence and obtained additional warrants for further search. Discovered during the search of the residence were a dog carcass and pelt, involved in the threat, as well as various drugs and paraphernalia. Additional evidence, which related to a charge of illegal possession of protected wildlife, was turned over to Norm McKee, conservation officer with the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources. Arrested at the scene was Clyde Gallegos, 22, who was later charged with possession of a controlled substance, and with illegal possession of protected wildlife, both Class B misdemeanors. Followup arrests were made of three other residents at the same address upon their return to the Panguitch area last week. Charged with a crime termed a "terroristic threat" was Tom Stanis, 23, who was also held on charges of possession of a controlled substance and illegal possession of protected wildlife. Charges of possession of a controlled substance and illegal possession of protected wilrUife were leveled against Mark Brann, 22, and Andrew Richardson, 23. All four have since been released from Garfield County Jail upon posting of bail. Stanis posted $850 bail and the other three $500 each. f |
