Show ' Cannonville Rick Lutes 679-8675 Dell and Rose Dennett went to Richfield last Wednesday on business. Aerial and Mandy Fletcher spent a week in St. George doing temple work. George and Ada Thompson celebrated the arrival of their 16th grandchild, a girl born April 18 to Guy and Beverly Thompson of Henrieville. Baby's name is Beverly Cecile Thompson. Stake Conference was held last weekend. Elder Hatch was the main speaker. Music was provided by a combined male chorus from Cannonville and Henrieville and directed by Laurie Holly. Bishop and Marva Fletcher made a trip to Salt Lake City to get the furnace part for the church. The truck strike caused a long delay in shipping. Those of us completing the EMT training course this month have had to undergo hospital and ambulance training in Salt Lake City. Gary Johnson, Maureen Wayman, Kim Johnson, Sandra Francisco and I each left Bryce Valley on Sunday. In fact, Pat and I are still in Salt Lake City. Beverly Davis and family visited with Hobart Feltner on their way home from California to Idaho. Visiting Ira and Julia Elmer were Howard Elmer, Cedar City; Zetta King, her son and Beth Twitchell, from the Ogden area. Dave and Gwen Evans went to the Salt Lake City area to visit their families. Vaughn and Mae Twitchell had family visiting for Easter. Visiting from out of town were the Ron Twitchells, Salt Lake City and the Craig Twitchells, Kanab. Vaughn and Mae also went to Salt Lake City to see Ron set apart as second counselor in the bishopric of the Wilford Ward. If you see Doug Twitchell walking very carefully, its because he cracked a rib last week at work. With the arrival cf spring comes the return of some of Cannonvilles "Winter Run-aways." We welcome Daisy Johnson home. She has been staying up north with family. Also arriving home last week were Glenda Feltner and her granddaughter, Tesa Collins. Tomorrow the Can nonville Scouts will participate in the District Spring Camporee at Calf Creek. This will be a back packing trip to warm up for our 50-mile hike this summer.
