Show Ducks Unlimited To Hold Banquet Friday SALINA Tickets are still available for the first annual banquet of the Sevier River Chapter of Ducks Unlimited, to be held Friday at Shaheen's East banquet room and steak house in Salina. Supporters may purchase a membership in the local chapter for only $10 plus the cost of the prime rib dinner. The dinner may be purchased individually or for two. A social hour is planned for 6:30 p.m. followed by the banquet at 7:30 p.m. Many door prizes will be given away and several valuable items are up for auction. Tickets for the event may be secured from any of the following: Jim Ferguson, Carl's Reloading, Bill Bishop or Roy Edmunds in Richfield; Lee Christensen, Joe Springer, King Anderson or Wesley Cherry in Salina. Ducks Unlimited was founded in 1937 to help restore and rehabilitate prime waterfowl breeding grounds in Canada where over 70 percent of North America's waterfowl rehatched. Since its inception DU has completed over 1400 wetland restoration projects. Your support is a vital link in making certain this progress continues. |
