Show Punguitch High School News by Bonnie Balklcy School was out October 7 through 9ai the teachers had to attend Utah Education Association meetings in Salt Lake City. The three new exchange students at Pangtdtch High School, Andrena, Jorge and Jamie seem to be getting along real well. The Bobcats are happy to have them here and want to welcome them. This week is "Sadie Hawkins" which means all the boys are in for a chase and all the girls will probably be the chasers. On "Sadie Hawkins Day", which is today the students of Panguitch High School Is Incouraged to all come to school dressed funny, with unmatched clothes, teeth blacked out, and hillbilly clothes. There will be as assembly where the senior boyt will be auctioned off. Then the chase begins! The girls are to catch them a beau and he has to go to the dance with her Friday night. The dance will be held in the gym Friday at 9 p.m. Everyone catch a guy and come to the dance. Also this week there is a game with the Moquis and one with the Mustangs Good luck guys I The Bobcats played Valley September 1 but were defeated 7 to 1. Wayne County came to Panguitch September 1 for a cross-country meet. The results of the meet was: Wayne over Panguitch in the varsity and Panguitch over Wayne in the Junior Varsity meet. Region Eight Cross-country meet was held at Enterprise yesterday. Friday there will be a National Schools Assembly in the gym. The Juniors are trying to eam money for their Junior Prom by selling wood. If any one needs wood contact Michele Hatch at 676-2777. |
