Show Tropic Topics Ella Adair 67S-M4S I Arnold and Ella Adair are on vacation for two week visiting with their children, the Gail Mlliea In Salt Lake City and Larry Adair family in Rexburg, Ida. On Monday, Oct 11, they flew from Salt Lake City to Hawaii. Maxine Crosby and sons visited with her father, Tom Richard during the week. Dexter and Lilies Francisco took their small daughter to St. George on Wednesday to have her casts taken off her legs. The doctor seems to think everything will be okay now. Janet and Ellis LeFevre and family from Thatcher, Ut. and John Lyle and Jennie LeFevre and family from Moab were in town visiting their mother, Flora LeFevre. On Saturday, they went to St George to visit Ethel LeFevre who is improving each day. We all wish her a special speedy recovery. Carma Barton was in Richfield on Saturday. Their son, Brant Barton has received his mission call to the New Zealand North mission. Laura Cottam and sons visited in town with her mother, Luella Mangum during the UEA weekend. Ruth Baugh and family spent four days in Provo visiting her sister, Ranee Porter. The Layton Ott Jr., family spent the weekend in town visiting family and friends. Wallace Ott and Herman Pollock are sporting new automobiles. The Kenneth LeFevre and family from Bountiful are visiting his mother, Amplus LeFevre and sisters. Thane Smith visited his sister, Alaska Richards last week. Bart and Peggy Palmer from Eureka visited her folks the Afton Pollocks. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Llttlefield and Mr. and Mrs. Vernal Shakespear were some of the senior citizens from our area to go on the trip to Disneyland. Clare and Mary Lee Ramsey went along to do the driving because their age would not be classified as a senior citizen. Arvon Button and family spent the weekend with her folks, the E.R. Shakes pears. Sharron White and small daughter from Hurricane spent the week with the Clive Bybees. On Sunday the Clive Bybee family all went to Hurricane to see their new granddaughter be blessed and given a name of Chrisa White. Sunday in church Mary Lee Ramsey was put in as Relief Society organist and Chert Feltner and Leda Jolley were put in as Relief Society choristers. Keela Mangum was put in as mother's education teacher in Relief Society. Quint Mecham was sustained as a teacher and Clint Mecham was sustained as a priest. The speakers in church were Earl Jolley, Kenneth LeFevre and Ken Go ul ding. The Obie Shakes pears had at their home their son, L.D. Shakespear and wife from Page, Ariz. Daughters Elna from Cedar City and Esther from her teaching Job in Nevada also visited. The Henry Jolleys were in Salt Lake City for UEA convention. The Lowell Mecham family enjoyed a trip to Disneyland over the weekend. Royce Pollock was home from his job in Price for two days. A stork shower was given for Linda Barton Saturday in the Relief Society room. Hostesses were VerJean Clark and Paula Richards. The Carl Shakespear family from Panguitch spent the later part of the week In town helping gather their cattle. The Bobby Jo Ott family moved to Page, Saturday. We will miss them in our town but wish them well in his new job in Page. The Paul Mangums were in Richfield and Cedar City during the week. Also in Cedar City were the Eldon Brinkerhoffs. The Cloyd Mechams were at the John Mecham home over the weekend. |
