Show Pangnitch High Grads Hear Owens at BPW Tea "Your future can be what you want it to be," Panguitch High School graduates were told by former U. S. Rep. Wayne Owens during the annual Business and Professional Women's tea. May 25. Mr. Owens addressed the group at the Panguitch Middle School. Mr. Owens, himself a graduate of Panguitch High School, alio spoke on economics, some of the laws which will affect their lives, the effect they have on society and suggestions which may im- t prove these laws. The program consisted of the welcome by Edra Miller, club president. The club collect was given by Edna Clarke. Two songs were presented by the Chantilly Ladies. An accordian solo was played by Flora Wright and a duet by Barbara Roe and Marilyn Marshall. Dortha McEwen sang a solo and a piano duet was given by Hope Truman and nuth Henrie. Mary Henrie presented the scrolls, the audience sand the school song, light refreshments were served. |
