Show Cannonville News Notes VIOLET RAF HUGHES Visitors at the Fern Hender son home last week were dau-Rhter Verlene and Eldon Glea ve family of Antimony, their daughter Brenda and husband Ted Salvi of Calif.. Otha, Iris and baby, and Stan Forman of Lark; Otha and Iris also visit ed at the Melvin Dutton home. Elva and Marion Clark spent a few days home from Las Vegas Mary and Eugene Graff spent the weekend at the Bill Nelson home, they also spent one day with the Dunhams: they came down with the Jay Dunhams. Alice and the late Joe Dunham family held their annual reunion Saturday and Sunday at the Dunham home All the family was there except the Tracy Moss family, and this was the first year for Menrin since 1960. Present were Mar garet and Earl Braithwaite. the Franca Dunham, the Jay Dunham families. Merwtn. Gloria, Ed, Lee Ida. Edgar and AUee Dunham. Remona and Mandy Fletcher spent one day in Cedar City for medical appointments. Charlotte Henderson is home for awhile. Those having birthdays this week are Guy Thompson, Ho-bert Feltner, Irving Johnson, Larry Davis. Violet Rae Hughes, Bea Reynolds. Fern Hend erson, and Tonya Syrett. Karen Sivills and children spent the weekend at the Kendall Dutton home. Elva Clark reports that they had a visit from daughter La Rue, husband and two children, they stayed with them for five days. The Clarks went to Hawthorne to the funeral services of Dixie's father in-law The program in Sacrament meeting was put on by the Bryce Canyon branch under direction of John Ruesch, his wife Ferliand and LaFaun Pol-lok. Malen Mecham and Nedra Stafford were visitors also at meeting. Nedra Stafford spent Sun- day at the Clele Fletchers. Rachel Thompson and Laurie Holley went to Salt Lake for the funeral services of Lynn Heaton. Rose and Dell Dennett came home from Salt Lake Saturday night. The Jim Clarkes went back to Meaquite, Nev. for school. The George Thompsons received word of the marriage of their daughter Pat to Saia Tau of Honolulu, Hawaii. Mae Twitchell has Louise Mangum helping her in the post office. The Verle Palmer family visited at the Joe Hughes and John Palmer's home. |
