Show NOTICE TO : CONTRACTORS Sealed proposals will be received by the State Road Commission of Utah, Room 808 State Office Building, Salt Lake City. Utah, until 2 o'clock p.m. Tuesday, June 30. 1970, and at that time publicly opened for construction of Bituminous Surfacing in Garfield County, the same being that section of State Road No. 54 from Tropic Junction to Cannonville identified as State Project No NS-392(2). The length of road to be constructed or improved Is 12.0 miles, and the principal Items of work are approximately as follows: 2480 Tons of Bituminous Material and 35,300 Tons of Bituminous Surface Course (34" Maximum). The project is to be completed In 60 working days. Prequalificatlon of bidders is required. Prior to any bidder's receiving plans and specifications, it will be necessary that the bidder have on file with the State Road Commission of Utah completed and approved, the required Prequalificatlon Statement pertaining to contractor's experience and financial condition. Not less than the general prevailing wage rates as determined by the Industrial Commission of Utah, effective January 1, 1969. shall be paid to all laborers, workmen and mechanics employed on this pro-lect. Proposal forms, plans, and specifications are on file in the office of the State Road Commission. Salt Lake City, and the office of its District Engl neer at Richfield, Utah where they may be reviewed by prospective bidders. Specifications, proposal forms, and plans may be obtained only at the Commission Offices at Salt Lake City, upon application and payment of a fee of $5.00, no part of which will be refunded. Each bidder must submit a bid bond from an approved surety company on forms provided by the Commission; or in lieu thereof, cash, certified check, or cashier's check for not less than 5 of the total a-mount of the bid, made payable to the State Road Commission, as evidence of good faith and a guarantee that if a-warded the contract, the bidder will execute the contract and furnish the contract bonds as required. The right to reject any or all bids is reserved. Any additional information may be secured at the office of the State Road Commission. Dated this 13th day of June, 1970.
