Show Panguitch News Mr. Albert Lang, son Glen, the latter's wife Lois, and Mr. Lang'i daughter Velta and her husband Lloyd Slack, all of St. George were recent visitors at the home of Lois Maloney Other recent visitors with Mrs Maloney were Mr Ashby Im-lay and wife Ina of Ogden. Visitors with Than and Bell Cooper this past weekend were Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Church and Doctor and Mrs. Charles Duffy all of California and the J. D. Churches of Ogden, and Don and Faye Rosenberg of Tooele. They all enjoyed visiting in the area. Amelia Woodardreports having sons Dale and Dawson and their families here visiting her from Magna. They all enjoyed the local fishing and visiting with friends and relatives in the local area Howard and Kay Prince and three girls of Bountiful spent Friday night at Panguitch Lake with Rulon and Fay Ella Prince. Saturday they all went to Richfield for the wedding and reception for grandson Mike Sudweeks and Jolene Chavez. Craig Sudweeks of Circleville spent several days at Panguitch Lake with his grandmother Fay Ella. Visiting at the Houston Hatch home this week were Mrs. Ted Nowland and son George from Blythe. Calif., Wayne Crabb of St. George. Mr. and Mrs. Char les Darnell and daughter Don-alee of Las Vegas. Mrs. Darnell Is the former Colleen Crabb. The James L. Hatch's were visited within the last two weeks by two of their daughters and families, John and Marylin Dahlstrom and children Elizabeth, Johnny. Alison and Derek; Ted and Delia Farnsworth. sons Steven and Rickey, also grandson Brent Marchant. The Dahlstroms visited for a short time on their way for a weekend on Lake Powell. The next day the Farn-sworths and Brent came and spent a day on Mammoth Ranch. On May 30th they took the Hatch's and met the Dahl-sroms at Wahweep Marina and they spent the day cruising on the lake, going up to Rainbow Bridge. All but the Dahlstroms returned to Panguitch that evening. Delia and sons remained at the Hatch's for a week. Recent visitors at the Millard Hatch home were Wendell and Winifred Hatch of Henderson, Nevada for the Memorial Day weekend. Llyle Hatch from K earns, he also attended funeral services for Paul Talbot. Uda and Merlin Partridge and children Rodney and Debra of Richfield who also visited with the Arthur Partridges. Carvel and Jackie Hatch and daughter Elaine of Henderson were weekend visitors; their son Carvel Ellis graduated from Basic High High so Grandma Mamie Hatch and Aunt Suzann went down to attend the exercises. Carvel Ellis received his Eagle Scout award, now he is on a History Class tour to places of interest extending to New York. Mamie and La-Grande Christiansen and children David and Holly of Hyrum came to spend a week's vacation fishing and camping but the rainy weather cancelled it out so they enjoyed the week Just visiting. Mamie has just received her B.S. degree from the USU. Chauna Talbot of Spokane, Wash., daughter of Marion and Norma Talbot, spent the week end with Mrs. Helen Wright. LeAnn and Janet Riggs of Lay-ton visited at the Wright home for ten days, then their parents, the Delon Archabalds came and took them home. Lynn Dickinson of Provo was in town over the weekend, he is moving cattle on the ranch up at the Lake for the summer. Mrs. Don Orton is home after visiting for a week with sister Maude and Jay Dickinson and family at Encinitas. Calif, and with niece Rena and Dick Thompson at Oceanside. Calif. Visiting with Mrs. Orton were the Wallace Ortons and three children of Kearns, and Bill and Joann Jones of Salt Lake who came to get son Donald after he spent a month with Grandma. Sharon and Michael Mann of Salt Lake are now visiting their Grandma Orton. Velta Miller had her child ren and families visiting with her for a week; Mr. and Mrs John Miller, son Clare and daughter Karen of Ogden ; Art and Barbara Houston and daughter Beverly of Roy, Bob and Beverly Davis and four daughters and son of Pleasant Grove; Mr. and Mrs Richard Miller and family of Orem.Carleta Miller and daughters Diane and Janet of Kingsville, Texas visited for four days, enroute to Logan where Mrs. Miller will teach summer school at UJ Medical patients in the nos-pital are Tom Schow, Jim Le-Fevre, John Yardley, Jeffrey Owens and Inn Thompson J. Ned Richards and fiancee Mary Thomas of Salt Lake visited with Mrs. Frank Richards for the weekend |
