ULLA ADAIR Mr. and Mrs. Oral Richins, the Darr and the Vernon Hatch's spent the week with Mr. and Mrs. John Hatch, while here the boys helped put a new fence around their parents yard- Mr. and Mrs. John H. Johnson are home,-for .'the summer, Dishop says that it seems good to be back where it is cool. Mary Ott made .1 weekend trip to Salt, Lakeand relumed with ono-of j her v small twin grandsons, her daughter Marilyn is recovering from - her heart operation very nicely. Mr. and Mrs, Lowell Mech-am and son Visited four days last week with the Malen Me-chams. The Kerry Nelsons had friends from San Diego as visitors over the holiday. Having birthdays were Gordon Pollock, Ferrell Brinker hoff and Ben Cope. Evan Chynoweth will have his missionary farewell on Aug. 10, prior to leaving for tho Scottish mission. The 4th of July events sponsored by the Lions Club, will be long remembered, we want to thank those who were in charge of activities. Catherine Henderson was crowned queen of the rodeo. The Clyde R. Bybee family and the Cloyd Mechams were weekend visitors at the John Mccham home. Jenny McGee and children are visiting with Verdella Nielson. Julius Daley was a recent visitor in town. Kozoko Lewis was here for the weekend, her children returned to Salt Lake with her. Arnold Adair made a business trip to Salt Lake. The seminary is sponsoring a movie each Saturday night in the open air dance hall. The Donald Henderson family of Salt Lake visited with the Thomas Richards over the holidays. The Alan Sudweeks family of Layton and the Deward Smith family of Hawthorne, Nevada are visiting with Mrs. Jane Sudweeks. Clarence Jolley recently visited with his mother Mrs. Thel-ma Jolley. Mr. and Mrs. Louis Hallock have their son and family and their daughter and family visiting with them. Glade Willis recently visited with the Ellis LeFevres. The Theron Griffins had daughter Carla and family as visitors last week, Gloria and Terry returned to Yearns with them for a visit. The Cloyd Sudweeks family of Cedar City visited with Mrs. Ada Sudweeks this week. Mr. and Mrs. David Williams of San Diego, friends of Ven-na O. Dalley, visited with Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Mangum this past week, they brought greetings from Venna to all her friends in Tropic. Our little league baseball team is doing a good job this summer. All games are played on the seminary grounds at 5 p.m. The Joseph Allen family visited here over the holidays. They had their baby son blessed and named Troy Robinson Allen in church Sunday. Kirk Chynoweth was graduated from Primary Sunday and ordained a deacon. Mrs. Blake Robinson and daughter Beth of Escalante were Sunday visitors in town. Ruth Baugh was home from BYU for the holidays; Jenny LeFevre is attending school in Cedar City" this summer. The Evan Miller family of Copperton is visiting Mrs. Esther Adair this week. |
