Show PANGUITCH, Visiting at the Errol Dow-dell home were the Veaters, and James Errol Goffs from Henderson, Nevada, also Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Tebbs and children of North Las Vegas, and the Eugene Jones and daughter Julie of Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Karl McAllister of .McGuire AFB of New Jersey are here visiting folks and friends as they are being restationed at Ohio where Karl will go to school to get his master's degree in nuclear engineers. The Homer McEwens of Henderson, Nevada have taken over the Trail Lodge here, Homer says business is picking up more every day. Phill Dodds, sonvof Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Dodds of Clearfield, who has been at the home of his grandmother Mrs Mae Dodds for the summer, has gone back home. He was chosen from Clearfield to go with the boys to Boys State in Logan. Also at the Dodds home are Mr. and Mrs. Larry Dodds and baby of Calif. Wm D. Hurst of Ogden re-"cently'sWppedtfor, a short visit, with his" parents, the Bill Hursts, "on his way to a meeting in Richfield. Visiting over the holiday weekend at the Hurst home were' Vermon and Kathryn Barney and three children of Orem. Mr. Hurst's sisters, Martha Hurst of Salt Lake and Mr. and Mrs. Presley Whornham of Beaver also spent a day with them last week. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Caldwell and son of Murray spent a recent weekend here with her sister Erna and family, the Mayo Riggs. Erna went up to Salt Lake with them to see daughter Berthann who Is attending the. Continental Beauty School and staying with her grandmother Mrs. E. T. LeFe-vre. Tebbs' also have their little granddaughter Sherrie Tebbs of Clearfield visiting with them. Ted and Shirley Chidester and three children of Paris, Idaho, also a friend, are visiting at the Wallace Millers and Loris Chldesters. Mr. and Mrs Miller went to Delta last week to attend funeral services for Mrs. Max Shield, Max was stationed in Panguitch a few years ago with the Highway Patrol. The Morris Ortons of Calif, visited Rebecca Orton. Brent and Sarah Hatch of Salt Lake have been visiting their folks, the Orion Ortons and the John Hatch's. Cliff Varner and son Richard of Calif, have been visiting friends in town. The LeGrande Farnsworths, Norman Henries and Art Chldesters made an overnight business trip to Salt Lake. Bernard Beckstrom and family of Salt Lake spent the weekend with his parents, the Dewey Beckstroms and enjoyed the fishing at Otter Creek Reservoir. Janice and Michael Gottfred-son and Joyce Tebbs returned to Salt Lake after visiting over the Fourth with the D. A. Tebbs. Dan and Karen Tebbs and family have returned to Albuquerque where Dan has a position; with an electrical engineering firm. He just received his M. S. degree in that work. Mrs. Hilda Cameron has returned from St. George for the summer, grandsons Richard and Vee Henrie helped her move. Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Crosby and son visited last week with the Jay Crosby family, they also renewed friendships with many of their former pupils in the area. Weekend visitors at the Crosby home were the Theron Crosby family of Salt Lake, Mr. and Mrs. John Crosby of St. George. On Sunday, the J. W. Dalleys and daughter and husband, the Bob Calverts of Denver, the Jerry Lewis' of Cedar, and the Donald Henderson family of Salt Lake all visited the Crosbys. Delia Hatch and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James 1 Hatch, drove to New York to meet husband Ted Farnsworth who had been attending school there. They also met son De-Los Hatch and toured the New England States and on to Toronto where they left DeLos. They also visited Hill Cumor-ah and other LDS church land marks. They were three weeks on the visit. Mr. and Mrs. Than Cooper have returned from Salt Lake with the Denzil Listons and their son and daughter from Calexico, Calif. They went up for their golden wedding celebration. The Listons stopped off on their way to drive them up for the affair. Mrs. Ada Hardy, daughters Kay and Wendy of Tucson, Arizona spent a week with Mrs John C. Miller. Don and Edith Barton of Paragonah also visited her for the Fourth. Richard and Judy Miller and daughter Trudl visited the LaGean Millers on the Fourth. Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Orton and two daughters of Grand Junction visited at the home of Mrs. Thelma Orton. A baby boy was born July 7th to Sterling K. and JoAnn Tebbs, proud grandparents are the W. C. Tebbs of Panguitch and the Earl Pendletons from Billings, Montana. |
