Show HATCH Reva Lowdtr Mrs. Grant Dalton and children visited last week at Reno, Nevada with Grant and attended a Dalton family reunion while there. Gai and Ralph Wilcock spent Friday with the Lamond Davis family to help little Gale celebrate his 3rd birthday. The Garn Huntington of Salt Lake visited his folks the Oliver Huntlngtons for several days. Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Huntington had all of their family together at the Karl Lowders to help Karl celebrate his birthday. The Pat Dix family of Panguitch and the Vay Sawyer family of Kanab were present. The Kim Ballards and Mrs. Preston Bradshaw of Hurricane came Sunday to bring Brad Ballard who stayed at the Huntingtons then went on to Salt Lake with the Garn Huntingtons on Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Karl Lowder, Mary Beth and Rell, Mrs. Da-rol Allred, Marlene and Del-ores left Sunday for Spring-viile and Salt Lake, Karl went to work and the women will visit for a week. Mr. and Mrs. George Workman visited at the Lake Saturday; visiting them Saturday afternoon were the Max Johnson family, the Mike Vargos and his sister of Salt Lake, the Marvin Neilsons of Panguitch. Mr. and Mrs. Emery Tate of Spring City visited overnight Saturday with the T. II. Sawyers. . The Orson Barnhursts have a new granddaughter born on July 4 in Las Vegas to the Mclvin Barnhursts. The Allen Huntinglons of Ordervillc visited the Wiley Huntingtons during the week, Saturday all the family had a dinner on the Mammoth. The Tom Winns of Los Angeles are visiting her folks the E. F. Tureks. The Mervin Barnhursts of Nevada visited the Orson Barnhursts during the week. Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Sawyer and the Vay Sawyers toured to Moab last week and accompanied the LaVal Sawyers to Flaming Gorge Dam and other places of interest and on to Salt Lake before returning homo. The Dclos Rosenburgs from Cedar City and their daugh ter and family visited Marcie and Homer Dutton Saturday. Ammon Johnson of Ordervillc visited at the L. L. Porter home last week. Several ladies in town surprised Theora Heap on her birthday July 4 at her home. Mr. and Mrs. M. H. Barnhurst of St. George and Mrs. Karl Weideman and children of Las Vegas were also here for the occasion. Mrs. Laura Pendleton and Ada Ann Wolenstein and children of St. George visited in town one day last week. Visiting at the Jesse Wilsons was their daughter Virginia of Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Johnson of Cannonville visited at the Bob Evans home Saturday and Sunday. Dean Johnson of Ne- , vada also visited them. Vern ; Johnson and children of Ne- J vada visited at the Evans' also at Mrs. Abbie Fallis, Vickl Johnson stayed to visit Mrs. Fallis for awhile. The Pete j Dirkmaats of Page also visit ed with Mrs. Fallis. The Ike Garcias of San Ped- ro, Calif, visited the Gale Wil- cocks, Hal Wilcock returned to Calif, with them to visit. ; The Sam Evans family and a friend of New Castle visited here Saturday, Afton went back with them for a few days. Ray and Fleta Marsh of Los Angeles are visiting here. ! The Jim Gouldings and J Wendy of Panguitch visited Saturday with the Jay Duttons. i , Visiting at the Eric Barnhurst home during the past week were the Gerald Wilcock family, the Reed Brim-halls, of Payson, and the Tony Ballator family of Salt Lake. Visiting them now are the Ivan Oakerson family (Alta Marshall) of Riverton. Independence Day was celebrated here with sports, children's races and dance, horse races and a watermellon bust in the evening. |
