Show Horses, Horses - Lots Of Horses Lions Club Races This Weekend With the Panguitch Race-Track stables full to overflowing with' an eager aggregation of fleet-footed thoroughbreds, this year's edition of the annual Lions Club race meet promises lots of action. There will be seven races on each of the two days of the meet with many of them being with "full-gate" eight horse fields. The first race gets off Friday afternoon, July 12, at 2:30. Friday's feature will probably be the sixth race where such outstanding speedsters as Eddie Stone, Ronnie Dean, Midnight, Ortez Chief, Janie Solomon and others of that calibre match strides. Saturday's races will be featured by the second running of the Panguitch Quarter-Horse Futurity, which has in the short space of two years built up into an outstanding event. This will be another one of the "full-gate" events with a field of eight nominees going to the post. |
