Show PANGUITCH Mrs. Doug Jensen and Catherine made a trip to Beaver Wednesday of this week. Mr. and Mrs. Mayo Riggs, son John, and Bruce Barney made a trip to St. George Saturday to bring Berthann home for the weekend, she returned to St. George on Monday; she reports that Mrs. Berthann Smith is slowly improving after her recent illness. Mr. Vanoy Hansen of Spring City visited with Evon Olsen this past weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Lindsay and girls attended General Conference at Salt. Lake. Mrs. Lindsay's mother, who has spent the past three months in Panguitch, made the trip with them and stayed with her children at Magna. Mrs. H. Frank Orton and Mrs Mildred Riggs made a trip to Provo this week. Weekend visitors at the Elmo Lee home were daughter Linda who is attending LJ3S Business College in Salt Lake, son Donald with his wife Wanda and son Terry who came from Beaver where Donald is teaching. Making a trip to Salt Lake this week to sing at UEA with the All-State Chorus are Pamela Henrie, Joyce Tebbs, Dor-thy Sue Excell, Muma Clements, Dorthi Ann Proctor, Con nie Mikulewicz, Hal Wllcock, and Russel Rasmusscn. Christine Shakespear took her grandmother, Mrs. Mildred Deuel to St. George on Sept. 24th to attend the wedding of Mrs. Deuel's niece, Katherine Reld, daughter of Omcr and Cecil Reid of Las Vegas. The next day Mrs. Deuel accompanied Velta Miller and Molly Reid to Las Vegas to attend a reception for the young newly-weds. Mr. and Mrs. Cloyd Ahlstrom of Calif, were recent visitors at the home of her sister, the D. Kern Owens. |
