Show Thomas Patrick Foy, Panguitch's Oldest Male Resident, Buried Oh Thursday Thomas Patrick Foy, 81, died at his home Oct. 5th at 2 a.m. of natural causes. He was born Feb. 14, 1884 in Panguitch to Martin William and Sussanah Smith Foy.. He was a member of the LDS Church; at time of his death he was the eldest male resident of Panguitch. Survivors: nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Oct. 7th in the Panguitch North 'ward chapel. Prayer in the home, Gilbert Robinson. Prelude and postlude music, Ilet ta Reid; opening song, "Rock Of Ages;" choir; opening prayer, Franklin Hansen; talk, Ma-loy Dodds; song, "Home On The Range," Hllma Excell and Dick Excell; talk, Rudolph Church; song, "Going Home," Kate Chldestcr; Bishop's remarks by D. Kern Owens; song, "Abide With Me 'Tis Eventide" choir; closing prayer, Dee Riding. The grave was dedicated by Clarence I. Foy; burial was in the Panguitch Cemetery under the. direction of Neal S. Magleby and Sons Mortuary. |
