Show Hatch HEVA LOWDER The speakers in meeting on Sunday were Barbara Barney, Dale Porter and Gary Fagg; Jolayne Wilson played a piano solo. Sarah Porter was released as a teacher in Primary and Myrna Chipman was sustained in her place. Kenneth Barn-hurst was released as secretary in YMMIA. Singing Mothers of the Relief Society attending confer ence and singing in the Tabernacle at Salt Lake were Dorothy Barney, Ruth Wilson, Flo-riene Barney, Yvonne Wilson, and Elaine Riggs. Howard Prince and Abbie Fallis also attended conference. Mrs. Fallis visited several days last week in OrderviUe with the Garn Blackburns. Attending a farewell testimonial and dance for Raymond Heaton Friday, prior to his departure to the Alaskan-Canadian Mission Oct. 4, were the Oliver Huntingtons, the E. F. Tu-reks, the Garth Heaps, the Os- myn Deuels, Mrs. David Sawyer and Abbie Fallis. The Orson Barnhursts and Dennis visited at Las Vegas and in LaVerkin. Omega Campbell and Nelda -Fagg visited one day in Alton with the Philip Robertsons. Visiting the 0. B. Hunting-tons Sunday were the Pat Dix family of Pangultch; Saturday visitors were Mr. and Mrs. Sam Evans of Cedar City. Mrs. Lynn Evans took her mother Sessle Clark to Provo for several days where Mrs. Clark visited the doctors to have her feet looked after. Visiting Saturday with the Gale Wllcocks were Mrs. Mary Alvey and friends of Las Vegas. Weekend visitors at the Garth Heap home were the Ronald Sawyers, Mr. and Mrs. Don Heap of Cedar City. Mrs. J. E. Riggs, Mrs. Dan Chipman and sons visited in Tropic one day last week. Cedar City visitors were the David Sawyers and Hope Dal- ton. Visiting the Daltons Friday were Gib and Shan Clark of Kanab. Karl Lowder is able to be out of the hospital, he left Sunday for Salt Lake where he has employment. Dcanna Gale Harrison of St. George visited her folks, the Dick Harrisons, during the weekend. The Wayne Harris family of Glcndale visited Saturday at the Max Haney home. The Wiley Huntingtons visited in Orderville and Alton Friday; Sunday they visited at Washington with the A. C. Nor-dells. |
