Show The Word From Boulder , ALICE ALVEY Paula Harrison was taken to Panguitch last week where she underwent surgery to have her appendix removed. She is home doing fine now. The same goes for me. I want to thank everyone for cards, candy, etc. received during my stay In the hospital. The Carter Ormonds, Gertrude Ormoridi Kay Coombs' and Neal Jep-sens were in Panguitch to see doctors and on business last week. The Dale Clarksons, Leland Haws' and Kay Coombs' went (continued inside) r r BOULDER (continued) to Salt Lake for conference. LaRena Hall and son Robert spent a day In Sallna for den- 0 tal care, Jim and Alene Haws spent Sunday in Wayne Co. visiting her folks. Ruby Ormond came over from Panguitch for a short visit, and to get some pears for canning. Alisha Otto and friends from Tropic visited recently. Mada Alvey, daughter Aneta and a lady friend came from Wayne Co. for some apples. The YWMIA was reorganlz- ! ed with LaR6na Hall as pres- f Ident, Kay Ormond 1st coun- , celor, Renon Peterson 2nd councelor and Marilyn Lyman I secretary. The Relief Society is in the process with Elaine Roundy president and Patsy Clarkson 1st councelor. I expect most of us will have to have our old Jobs back again. The weather has been ex- j tra warm lately, sort of repentant after freezing every- j thing a while back. Things are getting dry again but it's clouding up some so maybe ; we're in for a storm. j i |
