Add to tho soaked macaroons tho yolks of two eggs beaten beat-en lightly, a cup and a half of milk, two tablespoonfuls sugar and ono tablespoonful each macaroon nnd bread crumbs. Butter tho blazor slightly, turn In tho custard, sot ovor tho hot water pan, cover and cook from 20 to 30 minutes. When about half done, whip tho whites of tho two eggs stiff with two tablespoonfuls sugar su-gar and two teaspoonfuls lemon Juice, and pllo lightly on top of custard. Recover Re-cover and finish tho cooking. |
