Show THOU BOX ELDER NEWS Ladies' Entertained A number of the ladles belonging to the Auxiliary, took advantage of an Invitation extended to that organization organ-ization by the President Mrs. Wheel-on Wheel-on of the "Garland Self-Culture Club, to visit them at their club meeting last Tuesday. They were met at the Garland depot by a number of tho la. dies and escorted to tho home of Mrs. Wueelon whero they were treated to the hospitality or that dear lady. They found the Oarland club an up-to-date and progressive body ranking rank-ing with some of the best clubs in the state and belonging to the federation. feder-ation. Through the courtesy of T. H. Edwards Ed-wards and J. C. Whcelon of the Utah Sugar company, they wero escorted, through the sugar factory, which was an. enjoyable part of their visit. Our trip was very pleasant, tho only on-ly regrettable part of it bolng that Bo few of our ladleu were ablo to bo there. It Is to be hoped the ladles of Garland Gar-land will see fit to visit the Club horo and give our ladles an opportunity to return the compliment. Those who went wero: Mrs. Minnie H. The board of county commission-.era commission-.era met In regular session Dec. 2nd 1907, all members present. Messrs. Gets of Point Lookout and Wilcox were authorized to fill up the gap in road between Point Lookout and Tremonton, to pay men and team's te-am's $3. Mlmsee at Lucln. 1250 was appropriated t0 ropalr road from Park Valley to George Creek. , $150 was appropriated to gravel a road on south side of sees. 35 and 3G T. 13 N. R. 3 W. Annie Madsen was allowed i n month from Indigent fund. 150 was appropriated to finish tho dugway at Hampton's bridge. $150 was appropriated to gravel road from Box Elder Creek north to school house In Mantua precinct.
