Ono bill by Sonator Wolfe limits tho ago pf admittance of nil children when first entering tho primary schools to ten years, 'except with tho consent ot superintendents of school, boards of education nnd bonrds of trustees, who may grant older children tho privilege privil-ege of entering primary grades for tho first tlmo. The bill applies with equal force to all children regardless of color col-or or race, and amends the present statute authorizing the establishment of separate schools for' Asiatics and Indians by Including tho word "Japanese." "Jap-anese." The other bill, which passed the senate without a dlsBontlng voto, is by Senator Keano and provides for the expression of the will nnd Bentl-mcnt Bentl-mcnt of tho voters of California at tho next election on the question of Asiatic Immigration.
