Show Farewell Sociable In honor of Mr & Mrs Vanausdeln Justice II C Vanausdeln and wife were tendered n very pleading sociable at the hall Thursday evening prior to their leaving this city for their future home In Twin Falls, Idaho. A com'mitteo consisting con-sisting of the following gentlemen arranged ar-ranged the affair: A J Fife, Dr. J Marion Franckc, J F Owens, Eph Coombs and N L Brown. Lists wcro circulated nnd about f.10 ivns contributed contribut-ed by their friends to make tho affair a thorough success. The hall wns filled with friends of the honored guests nnd dancing was indulged In by all present. During the progress of tho dance, Moslah Evans, In behalf of tho committee, com-mittee, tnude a fitting speech nnd presented presen-ted Mr. and Mrs. Vanausdeln with handsome hand-some suit cases. Hichard Jardluo sang a sola, entitled, "When the Harvest Moon is Shining, Molly Dear." Oranges nnd apples wcro passed to the crowd In attendance nnd n plcasaut evening even-ing was enjoyed by all. -Mr. Vantiusdeln has been quito prominent pro-minent in all business affairs of this city; was Justico of tho Pcaco, a member Df tho Town nornd nnd Commcrcinl Club nnd wns engaged in tho real cstato and Insurance business. Wo wish them success in the adjoining state hut regret to seo them leavo the town. Mr. Vnnnusdcln left yesterday for Twin Falls. Mrs Vanausdeln and children chil-dren will remain here a fow days to visit friends prior to their departure.
