Show Death of John Burns. Wednesday night at 11 o'clock, John Burns, aged 08 years, a highly respected and Influential man of Fielding, died at his homo after a lingering Illness of nbout two years from the effects of Sarcoma, or n cancerous growth, of the stomach. For the pnst four mouths he bad been confined to his bed nud gradually gradu-ally grew worse until tho final cud came. David Stohl of Brighnm came up Thursday morning nnd embalmed the body. Ho leaves a wifo nnd six grown-up children to mourn his loss. The children child-ren nrc: Mrs. Ursol Hose, Mrs. Chiiun-cey Chiiun-cey Hess, John, Frank, Jodo and Burt Bums all residing in Flohllng except Mrs Hose, who lives in this city. Impresslvo funeral services were held at the Fielding ward meeting house yesterday yes-terday afternoon, quite n number of our citizens being in attendance. Tho hnll was crowded with frionds of tho deceased. de-ceased. Tho body was shipped this morning to Farmlngton for burial, the relatives accompanying ac-companying tho remains. . |
