East Meadows Elementary fourth and fifth grade students had the privilege of making the decorations for the tree in the lobby at Zions Bank this year. Once the ornaments were complete and the tree decorated, students joined staff members from the elementary and the bank to sing songs and celebrate the lighting of the tree. We'd like to thank Zions Bank for their contribution to our school. Pictured above are Mrs. Hansen and Mr. Liddiard representing East Meadows Elementary and Mr. Christensen of Zions Bank. They saw a giant pendulum and also were able to see a movie about our solar system. While still on campus they had a lesson from a BYU Professor, Professor Booth. He showed them a cockroach from Madagascar and taught them many fascinating things. Among the many fascinating things they saw and learned some of the most fascinating were learning about Professor Booth's cancer research, seeing large geode crystals, liquid nitrogen and the cockroach from Madagascar.
