Show N ^ W S B6 • WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 26, 2007 Spanish Fork Covering what matters most Spanish Fork raises $1,900 Canyon Shala Richards SFHS Student Body Officers at Spanish Fork High School held a fundraiser for families that needed a Christmas. They caroled at Macey's "It is a great feeling to know that I helped a family ..." — Makenzie Acosta and collected money from the customers so they could surprise a family on Christmas morning. The juniors in charge of Christmas Idol also donated the money from the talent show. The student body collected a total of over $ 1,900 dollars, providing Christmas to three different families. "I enjoyed being able to shop for each individual; we had a list of the family member and their ages. Then we took a shopping trip to Wal-mart and bought clothes, toys, etc. It is a great feeling to know that I helped a family get the Christmas that they deserved," Makenzie Acosta.
