He was born Jan. 14, 1927 to Lester Thomas and Rhoda Banks Thomas. Allan left high school to serve his country during WWII. He served honorably in the U.S. Navy where he was selected as part of the Admiral Byrd Antarctica Expedition. He returned to Spanish Fork High School and graduated with the love of his life.
