The College Times took to the halls of UVSC to chat with students about how they discovered their academic passion and what lessons you can learn jight now from their experiences. If you are not sure of your major, then just work on some generals, and that will probably give you an idea. Just taking classes and stuff. Just jump in there and get some general courses in. I would say, just stick with , something that you really ; enjoy so you don't get stuck in a job you hate 10 years... < from now. What advice would you give to students who are coming in and are unsure of which field they will study in? Figure out what they want to do. Whatever's fun, that is what I am doing. What made you choose that major? I just like talking to people all the time, and I just have a knack for it. So, I figured, might as well try it out. Why did you dedde to go into that? I had studied at the University of Missouri before this, and I really enjoyed the History How are you going to go about classes I took. I would just say take it easy. Like when you are a freshman, you don't have to decide right away. Try out a lot of things and see what you like, see what you think you would want to do your entire life, and then go with that. |
