As for which clubs have the most members, and hence, the most involvement, Julie Bagley, director of the Center for Student Excellence, provided The College Times with the top five: 1. Latter-day Saint Student Association (5,075), 2. Phi Theta KPPA-Alpha Sigma Theta (1,000), 3. Rowdies (300), 4. BBQ Club (250), 5. Humanities (170). LDSSA, in particular, provides numerous opportunities for students to serve, meet other students, and participate in a wide-variety of activities. Affiliated with the nearby Orem Institute of Religion, LDSSA has its own 32-member student council who oversees monthly dances, service projects, and weekly devotionals, to name a few. Without a doubt, this club stands as the most influential (ASUVSC often combines with LDSSA for service projects and, sometimes dances) on campus. Rowdies are another interesting and prominent club. Designated as the cheering section at UVSC home games, this group helps promote school spirit by advertising game days and, of course, making itself known during the game as they are the loudest and most supportive fans.
