Last year, BYU had more reported rapes and molestations than the U, according to their respective campus safety reports. The U did not have any non-forcible sexual assaults reported last year, and BYU had seven. BYU also had two more forcible sexual assaults than the U. The.U had more than or an equal number of crimes in every other category. The U's biggest gain over the school down south, not surprisingly, is in liquor law violations and arrests. To put it in perspective: The U had 8,900 percent more reported liquor law violations last year than BYU— 178 instances to two. It also had 32 liquor law arrests last year, compared to BYU's five.
