Wilkins, a member of the A 2nd Battalion, 222nd Field Battery, National Guard, is a Utah Artillery, full time student at Southern Utah State College, majoring in medicine. Wilkins military job is working in the fire detection center. His wife is the former Cynthia Shumway, of Hurricane. Stacy Ann received the Prevailer award. This award is given to a student who has an answer to prayer after unusual perseverance in praying. Recipients of the Presidents Club awards are announced during one of the daily chapel programs and receive lapel pins and Bibles with their names engraved. The students are also the guest of the president and his family for dinner, and their pictures are posted in the Student Center.
